Floss every day
First, take a piece of floss about 20-24+ inches in length
Wind the floss around your 2 middle fingers and grasp 1/2 inch of floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers.
Insert the floss between your teeth carefully
Hold the floss taught and curve it around one of the teeth.
Scrape the floss up and down against one tooth and then the other (not in a sawing motion)
The main purpose is to remove the film of plaque on your teeth, not just food particles!
Using a new part of the floss, continue flossing, even tooth surfaces which have no tooth next to them.
Rinse thoroughly to remove any loosened particles.
Eat at least 30 grams of fiber daily

Use many spices and herbs to enhance your immune system.


Avoid "trans" or "hydrogenated" fats at all costs

Eat Slowly... Chew Completely
Lose weight. Studies confirm that by eating slower, you consume fewer calories. Some suggest you could lose 20 pounds a year without doing anything different or eating anything different. Why? It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register that you’re full. If you eat fast, you eat past the point where you’re full. If you eat slowly, you realize you’re full, and stop on time.
Better digestion. When eating slower, you chew your food better, which leads to better digestion. Digestion starts in the mouth, so the more you chew, the less work your stomach must do. This leads to fewer digestive problems.

Less stress. Eat slowly, and pay attention to your eating. This can release the stresses of the day. Be in the moment, rather than rushing through a meal thinking about what you need to do next. When you eat… eat. This leads to a less stressful life, and long-term happiness.
Enjoy your food. It’s hard to enjoy your food if you gobble it down. In fact, I think it’s fine to eat unhealthy foods, if you eat a small amount slowly. Think about it: you want to eat unhealthy foods (desserts, fried foods, pizza, etc.) because they taste good. But if you eat them fast, what’s the point? If you eat them slowly, you get the great taste, but with less going into your stomach. Make your meals a gastronomic pleasure, not a thing rushed, between stressful events.
