Holistically Balanced Mind

We all want a healthy mind. Life is not supposed to hurt--at least, not all of the time. Life should be a positive, meaningful experience even though difficulties happen. Life should be filled with cheerfulness, bounce, whimsy and surprise. When problems arise and overwhelm us, life becomes difficult, and we lose our cheerfulness, bounce, whimsy, and surprise.

If your mind is in turmoil and you are angry, or upset, much of the time; you are not holistically balanced. 
If your head is so jumbled with a zillion thoughts crashing into each other that you have trouble focusing, you are not holistically balanced. 

But, there is hope...  There are answers!

Holistic balancing never conflicts with your religion or beliefs!

Holistic balancing just enhances your life!

  Meditate, Journal, Guided imagery, Exercise, Laugh, Listen to quiet music, or Walk by an ocean or lake

Issues with anger and rudeness?
Holistic Solutions

 Recognize… the situation, the unkind words, that push your buttons setting off feelings of anger, or rudeness.

Consider… the disadvantage of being rude or angry, and more importantly… the drawback of throwing negativity at negativity… and the advantage of practicing patience, tolerance, and acceptance.

 Stop… Think… see things from the other person’s point of view; develop empathy; accept the law of karma; and consider this situation an opportunity to develop patience, or that the person involved is a teacher to help you grow.

Surrender… let go of your usual reactions and hasty impulses for deliberate thoughtful conduct.

Transform… Look at what you learned and changed.  Look at every aspect… then, replace your old reactions with your new healthier responses.  Keep practicing… It’s critical.

Respond… Address people or situations tolerantly, politely, thoughtfully, and responsively. Let your spiritual self direct you.
